The first time I heard Prince was in 1999/2000ish.

I was at my grandma house and they were watching VH1 and "When Doves Cry" video was playing,the first thing to come out my mouth was "aint he gay?"I was like 7 at the time lol. I just remember the scene when he was crawling on the floor and bending down at the lake.

ill be honest the first time i heard prince was in 2001/2002ish

the first Prince song i heard was on our local radio stations here in CA and they were playing the song "Kiss" but i didnt know it was Prince i thought it was a brand new single that just came out and that it was a woman singing it because his voice was so high and the song sounds so modern

i didnt realize till later that it was Prince and i didnt know who he was then my dad bought his greatest hits cd and i listened to it loved it than MJ died and since than ive gotten more into his music and im here now!
