Also, a best of gets mentioned a lot also. This was the thread I was thinking of where we recently discussed this topic. http://prince.org/msg/7/314850 [Edited 10/2/09 16:25pm] I pulled it up but I can't see when it was originally posted or what page it's on now. Honestly I doubt if anyone looks much past page 3 to see if a thread has already been started on a particular topic. Unfortunately what I have observed, so far, is that lets say that you started a thread that was halfway descent and then over the next 2 days a bunch of people posted not so great threads that aren't very well thought out; your thread will sink like a lead ball because no one even knows it's there to comment on. It doesn't matter how lame a topic is, it still gets to be a thread. Truly I think repeating a halfway descent thread idea over again beats a flood of half-baked thread ideas. Your observation is on point. You can find when a thread is started by looking at the first initial post in the top right corner. It tell the date and time. I don't know if u know it, but the threads around here get locked after so long. You can still reference them after so long, but you cannot post on them. I think most people scroll through most of the topics. If you visit frequently, you figure out that not that many threads get started and last. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Your observation is on point. Thanks for telling me that, now I know. Alot of people named songs that might be from "Disorder and Chaos" which is one that I don't own and seems to cause a love/hate response when it's brought up in a thread. I also only have "the Dance" from 3121 but alot of orgers say the other version is better. I will do my best to keep this thread alive so that it isn't duplicated in two months.
