I'll tell you why I was annoyed with the set-up; I see a thread "NEW VIDEO BY PRINCE!!", get all excited and click into a video that just has some girl talking strangely. So my first thought is 'dammit, we've been had again!". (I didn't have my speakers on, so I couldn't hear her rambling.) So I start skipping through it...still the chick, still the chick...FUCK!...where's Prince?!? Skip some more, OH, there he is, FINALLY!! WOOHOOO, nice looking video, which I'll listen to later when I'm able. Second one comes out and she's been told to chill out a bit - ok, cool, now I know the game and can just skip her.

I think people are tired of the viral marketing tricks that happen on the net. I don't like being told, "here's a new Prince video" and then seeing some random YouTube video chick. I want to watch/listen to HIM, not her, not even for a minute. What's the point of the intro anyway? It's not like we aren't going to be interested in watching him perform.

So the lotusflower members have been waiting and waiting for material and everyone is pretty irritated about the entire youtube story. A deal in the latter though has been struck. The LF annual subscription has 6 months to go, (for some) I believe. Seems more than enough time for material to be released.

I have also clicked on scores of youtube videos promising s.t. of MJ only to be duped too. But hey 'c'est la vie.' It's not gonna make me leave bad comments if someone else wants to do their thing. It's none of my business.

Shebley wanted to make it special and she did that in the best way she thought possible. You can have a opinion and say what you'd prefer, but unfortunately it goes further and people pass unnecessary comments about her personality, character and other things, when they don't even know her!!!

I think she withstood the criticism brilliantly with her small answer post.
I don't know her besides from this thread, but she didn't deserve the negativity she received.

I liked the perfomance and was pleased to see Prince live since I've never been to a concert and there is such a sparse amount of videos of him available on the internet. I don't understand why people are hating on this girl? She gets sent a video and posts it with pleasing people in mind & get's shit on. I'd hate to think of what people would be saying to her if she DIDN'T post the video! People here just never seemed to be pleased with anything they get & also forget that everything Prince releases is a GIFT for them and them alone....

One exception to this would be people who paid for a lotusflow3r membership, if Prince did indeed send this girl a video, I think it's very unfair that it wasn't posted on his website, even for a short while. Although I see no benefit in complaining about it here, I'm sure if enough people sent an email to Prince's staff threatening to never subscribe to a website again until he provides a decent service for their money, they would probably listen. Even if they didn't, it's worth a try instead of moaning about it here right!

& to people saying this girl seems strange/psycotic/crazy; if the things she says are crazy then that makes Prince the biggest lunatic on the planet!
