If this was official in any way, it was incredibly lame. It's part of a concert that should have been viewable on his own website if he was going to do anything with it at all.

What's more, he spent years battling youtube and has finally--just recently!--made this big deal about coming to an agreement with them and creating an official channel. If this were really from Prince, it should have been there, not on some random anonymous user's channel. No wonder it gets pulled from youtube and the org when he's threatened to sue half the world over stuff exactly like this.

This is absolutely the best performance out of the other two montreux videos . The performance was raw, meaning like prince was emotional singing this(not like he was about to cry) it just showed one side of prince, a man who had his heart broken and is moving on with his life while his heart still aches. From my perspective that is what im seeing from this video, it was so beautiful and real

I don't think any1 should call the girl names. I thought it was very cute. The 1st time I watched it, I skipped foward to the performance just to see if it was a P video. I also think we that joined the exclusive site should get an answer on why we haven't gotten anything that was stated from Princes camp except a T-shirt. Can you let us know what is going on with the website and why we haven't gotten anything new for months? It just really makes me feel bad that I joined, kinda like man am I stupid for buying the hype again. When we've gotten every exclusive about the LotusFlower from the good Dr.( good for him bad for me and the others that joined) and now it seems like Shelby (great for her even worse for me and the others that joined) is in the loop but at least she joined in one of the vids she is wearing her t-shirt. I'll continue to hold my breath and hope that somgething really cool will happen on the site just for members and if not it's the last $77.00 he'll get of mine and I will go join the Doctors stie seems like the action is all there n-e-ways plus it's free (great for me and my wallet). Sorry for the rant just want to get my feellings across. Just feelling Left Behind and forgotten!

Either she was given the clip by the Prince camp so she could showcase it, either way I assume she would have needed approval from said camp regarding her 'introduction' to the footage.

If it was a boot then the poor girl was duped and I think that the person or persons who would do that are jackasses.

Watching these jazzy prince concerts is like watching those lame elevator-smooth-jazz concerts they air late night or early sunday mornings on BET. depressing.

Now, that performance i think i can see an edited version being a hit in Urban Contemporary , maybe even "POP" if marketed properly.
I think it is fantastic, i haven't heard a radio friendly single in a Prince record in years.

This performance is fantastic IMO, and many others by the lookls of things on here.

I agree that Prince's vocals have improved immensely in recent times and this performance showcases that brilliantly.

As for renato I actually think he's the best keyboard player prince has EVER had. I love his input and he compliments Prince and the band very well.

I have seen it.

Prince in 'vegas'-mode again: all tastefully 'sophisticated' and such, it bored me to hell.
