It's ok.
Not as bad as everyone says it is.

the songs are a bit lazy and not very inspired. It was the wrong kind of album to release immediately after his stellar Superbowl performance.

The only weak spots on here are Mr. Goodnight and Resolution. Otherwise, it is (along with 3121) my favorite of the last 5 years

Those 2 songs.. do you really like those better than what's on MPLSound ?

Chelsea Rodgers isn't funky imo.. boring.

and Guitar is a weak song too, sounds a bit like U2's I Will Follow, which is a far better song.

To me the PE album is very bad produced and it lacks good songs: Title track and Future Baby Mama are great, SHOE and The 1 U Wanna C are good, I can live with Guitar.. the rest of the songs are below Prince standards.

I rate MPLSound a lot better than PE:

It's been a couple of months...I play it 2day.

Yes, I think it's a good album, I heard a lot of the songs live at the O2 and Indigo2 and everyone was going crazy for them, including 'The One U Wanna C' ... hardcore fans too....

Planet Earth could have been rather good if:

- He had filtered out that generic R&B shit in the middle (Future Baby Mama, Mr. Goodnight).

- He did put two great songs right after Resolution.

As for the album, I like most of it except for Chelsea Rodgers. Somewhere Here On Earth and Future Baby Mama need to find me in the right mood but the rest I love.

I was very happy and kinda hoped he'd played through the whole album, which would have been very cool. But having said that, I wasn't too upset when he went into When You Were Mine after The One U Wanna C .

I didn't freak too much fro CR though, not a favourite of mine.

Better than 3121, not NEARLY as good as Musicology, which is GROSSLY undervalued by all u haters

Future Baby Mama is one HELL of a pop single...the harmonies are sublime, and the lead vocal is SICK.
