Prince's age on american bandstand ok at the start of the video it says 'january 26th 1980' but when dick clark asks him how old he is, he says '19' but wouldn't he have been 22?

I remember reading somewhere that in the beginning of his career WB wanted to market him as a few yrs younger to make him seem that much more unbelievably talented because he could sing, write, and play 26 instruments. "You can be the President, I'd rather be the Pope" | |
