Where would you like him to play instead?

I'm guessing quite a few hardcore fans from Italy, South of France, Switzerland and maybe even Spain are pretty happy. Maybe even some from northern mainland Europe made the trip.

Sure it's am exclusive principality in terms of living there, but you are allowed to visit and stay in a hotel, maybe take in a Prince concert or two,

Don't sweat it, he'll play the US/UK/Other European countries again one day...

If I had money I would have attended the August 13th, but definetely the 16th is too expensive!!
It'd be cool and interesting to see him at the Olympia in Paris for several days, not a very big theatre but enough to create and feel a special mood.

Well I think his choice has more to do with a simple desire to expand his performance boundaries, the story is that he saw pictures of the place and said "thats where I want to play next" (or something along those lines). He'd never done it b4. The fact that its an extremely bougie (sp?) place where he could extract so much per ticket was just an added plus. Hell, if I were a musician and could play at such a place for such a price I'd be all over it too, and knock out a mini-vacation in the region while im at it.
