This picture of Leonard Nimoy reminds me of a story I heard from a "Midnight Star," employee. When "Midnight Star," performed the song "Freakazoid," on stage they would use the hand gesture that "Spock," made in "Star Trek."

That gesture was supposedly derived from Leonard's visit to Temple as a child when a Rabbi asked everyone to close their eyes for a prayer as the Rabbi blessed the congregation...Using this hand gesture. Leonard was not supposed to be peeking, but he did.

Every since I was young in the song "trust", the part after he repeats "who do you trust if you can't trust God", when he says " come and see", I always heard "no-bod-dy. I still sing it as nobody even though I know its wrong, lol.

Steve Wright In The Afternoon (UK, 80s, Radio 1 Show) used to have a slot called "Twisted Lyrics".

I always remember the one from PR;

"Honey I know, I know, I know times are changing" sounds like "Honey I know, I know, I know God is a Triffid"

Every time I hear that line I always think of that.

Azahar, I always thought it was "Isn't your life elastic" until just now.
My sister can hear better than me and when we're driving somewhere she still corrects me on the lyrics, mostly to Prince or old school MJ. If I can't make out the lyrics, so I just make em up. It's more fun that way.

Live concert story:

When i was at first row at his symbol tour in Holland. It was hard to hear what Prince was singing. Prompt he put his Microphone right in front of me.
He wanted me to sing along with him. I couldn't hardly hear what he was singing.

I thought he started with the intro of A love bizarre. Like "A, B, C"
So I sing this very hard in the microphone. Prince looked very surprised.
So once again he put the Mic towards my mouth and yelled with a smile to me "No, no its ..." i could hardly hear the man. He give me 5 chances and everytime he started to laughing harder and harder.

I never understand what was happening. I let 25.000 people singing "A, B, C," up to 5 times

This never left my thoughts, until a couple of months later i hear a new song with the line "N.P.G .. who is in the house N.P.G."

all the folks at that concert Forgive me 4 that, but Prince had a good time with this practical joke.

"Rosie is our future maid" (before the "batman" chorus/hook)in the Batdance song (I was only 12 at the time) instead of "I've seen the future and it will be"

Also misheard:

"Lets stick the sandwich in the computer" instead of "Let's stick the 12 inch in the computer" from Batdance (again)

Okay, I was was laughing at everyone.....and thinking I never have mistaken his words in a song, then it hit me, I remember and I still am not quit sure what it is, but I think I know....In BatDance I use to think he was saying "Get The F*CK UP".....But I am almost sure he has to be saying "Get the Funk Up"?????
