i noticed that what written content there is on the lotusflow3r site and the emails we got connected with it were typically NOT in prince-bonics, which suggested to me that the site designer was behind those messages and wasn't hip to the whole "4, U, 2, etc." thing, and that prince hadn't made sure that detail was put into effect for the site project. to me it just showed that prince either wasn't all that invested in the site, or that his persona doesn't mean as much to him as it used to, or maybe both.

With writers that are incessently working on expressing themselves...Writing lyrics are easier to abbreviate this way.

The whole computer world is making these short cuts all of the time these days.

Listening to what Prince has to say is the most important thing.
