It is credited to the New Power Generation.

I don't see "Prince" or "prince" as the artist. The prince is used for artistic purpose here.

Gold Experience, his best album of the 90's!
Man those were the days. Lots of unreleased music on the radio, the concerts (he only played the GE and lots of new music, with several rarities), the boots. There was so much to do about Prince around that time.
Come is second, for me it's GE's little brother just like U2's Zooropa is Achtung Baby's little brother.

His worst from the 90's has got to be Rave, man was I disappointed when this was released. A missd chance.

And New Power Soul is not as bad as some want you 2 believe.

I agree completely. Hearing the liveshow from Paisley Park where he premiered songs like "Interactive", "Days Of Wild", "Shhh!", "Now" and many others on the radio was sooo cool. Still one of my favourite live-concerts of his. Of course, some of the material could later be seen in the "Beautiful Experience" movie with lots of band new "Come"-material. Maybe my favourite time as a Prince-fan!
See the man with the blue guitar, maybe one day he`ll be a star...

It seems basic knowledge that it's the third of three NPG albums. As if the NPG isn't a side project from an artist who is known for side projects? Pffft. Prince takes a different approach with the NPG the same way he did with The Time (not the SAME approach for both, just a different one than his own for each of those).

Best is Crystal Ball (Even if its got 80s material on it, theres lots of 90s stuff and it was released in 1998) 9/10

Being technical if you don't accept it would be Come which is great minus the song Solo 8.5/10

Gold Experience is not bad, but has lost a bit of its shine, especially the cursing as Prince's new stuff is so anti swearing now 7.5/10

Symbol is great album, very funky and catchy 8/10

Emancipation is diverse, some great songs but some excreable ones too 8/10

Diamonds and Pearls is a good album, walk don't walk and Jughead weigh it down, but Cream and Insatiable are definite highlights, the title track is beautiful 2. 7/10

Rave is Ok thats about it 6/10

The Truth again suffers from 4 brilliant songs and 8 mediocre ones, Animal Kingdom is a true highlight 6/10

Graffiti Bridge is also mixed, some songs are crappy filler, but Still Would stand all time and Joy in Repetition are sheer genius 5.5/10

Chaos and Disorder is beyond belief, its absolute garbage and the worst album sans The Rainbow Children 2/10

Newpowersoul is also bad, but y'all don't think its a Prince/Symbol album so I will agree 2 disagree. 1/10

Kamasutra is not even rateable, its lift music 0/10
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

What do you mean? I don't understand your argument. How should an album released 14 years ago suffer from what he does now? confused

The swearing sounds dated along with the 90s style rapping, and I think that sounds dated, also a lot of the 90s stuff is overproduced and bombastic with all the nornz, keyboards, vocoders and hair metal guitar playing in Gold. Pussy Control sounds like its a pop outake from the Chronic, and its so different to his mature stripped down sound we have now.
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time
