In the 1990 Nude Tour the opening acts in Ireland were
Stockton's Wing (who was practically Booed off) and Mavis Staples (who was practically Booed Off) For the 1992 D&P Tour he Opening Acts were Curtis Stigers (Who no one took much interest in) and Andrew Strong (who was practically Booed Off)(He is the fat guy in The Commitments) Over all they weren't to popular with Irish audiences. This might explain why Carmen didn't preform in Dublin. The right to free discussion is protected!!

I'm not sure if this counts as an opening act but during the ONA tour there was sometimes a DJ on stage (with a 30 minutes set or something) who later also joined the main show.
Forgot his name... Sometimes I Trip On How Happy We Could Be...

Well, actually she's was kinda sad, the industry hasn't been to open about her talents, I told her that she could be the next action star (you know like Jackie Chan 20 years ago), she told me to write the studios about it. I think she's incredible! "I have so much love for Prince. But why don't they look at me that way"- MJ

I think she's incredible! I'd love to see that happen for her, but in an industry that would rather have Shia LeBouf running from CGI robots than have a real risktaker on their hands (and on the hands of their insurance companies ), I imagine it will continue to be an uphill battle for her. She deserves so much more than she has, to be sure!

And the Frighteners with Michael J Fox, that was filmed in Lyttleton a port town near Christchurch, where I grew up, they made it look like Oregon or New England?, but its actually NZ, they have very similar climates. You know my man Guillermo Del Toro is working over there at the moment. once were warriors how about that One of NZ's most popular and iconic movies, but the Maori have disowned as they saw it as racism caused by colonial attitudes, true a lot of Maori families are like the Hekes, but the movie negelects to say most of those problem families are white and Pasifika too, still some superb acting there. Temuera Morrison was a big star here even before that movie, hes a softie in real life, having to beef up for the role of Jake the mus So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch?
