Rainbow Children, Planet Earth and the Lotus Flower Collection standout as my favorites. And they could rival any of the old catalogue. Musicology, Rave, and 3121 are good but not great. Some good songs on those albums though. | |

lol a lot of people think that Prince is some robot who can always create music that will suit them. Just chill out and enjoy the music, because it is better than most of the stuff on the radio.
I'm so glad i discovered Prince's music in 2004, when I picked up the Musicology album- then decided to collect his entire catalogue of released and unreleased material. I truly appreciate this guy's music. It seems it's some the older Prince fans who are not content with his newer material. Peace. | |

I agree, Lotusflower is one of his best albums ever, right next to Lovesexy and One Night Alone(studio). Anyone who is still waiting for "80's Prince" to reappear musically or lyrically, needs to check the date and move on. The funny thing is he's gotten better at being more discreet about his sexuality in his lyrics. Boom is a perfect example. They'll never be another 1999, Purple Rain or SOTT....so get over it! That's why I love Prince's music and addicted to it, because I can put any music of his depending on my mood. RC, Musicology, Planet Earth, 3121 and Lotus Flow3r are amongst some of the best albums of this decade. Ps, I'm just listening to Planet Earth...and i'm loving it!!!!! What do u think your doing?
