which album is this on??

It was a free download at the npgmc-site in 2001. Later it was available on the "chocolate invasion"-download-only album. It's not legally available anymore.

Very unique song. I think it's the best thing that ever came from NPGMC. Everythingelse was mostly crap like Hypno Paradise

I remember, clearly, the first time I heard this...

The way P sings the '...here like an echo' line brought tears to my eyes and a big Chesire Cat grin to my face. THEN the guitar solo...! I was in love with it immediately.

One of his best songs from the 00's.

There were many songs that were made EXCLUSIVE to the NPGMC Website.
All of them with maybe the exception of one or two jams were fantastic!!
" WHEN I LAY MY HANDS ON U," was one of the best songs that was featured on the website. A Bit later on the song was a part of the online Digital Album,
" CHOCOLATE INVASION." There were a few online Digital albums that PRINCE made available at the NPGMC for those who wish not to blink to hard as if you did.....you missed it.
These albums were," SLAUGHTERHOUSE," " XPECTATION," and " C-NOTE,"
These recordings were never PRESSED TO CD by PRINCE or by any MAJOR RECORD LABEL.
They were rather "PRINCE INDEPENDENT DIGITAL RELEASES."
They are all currently OUT OF PRINT DIGITALLY.
Best of luck to those who are looking for them all.
