88' vs 83:Which 1 U Go 4 This era to me is better than any era,and i dont see why people dont talk about 88' more. Look at his style, that's player
vs Now this Prince look scare the ghost out of me in a way,but he still looks cool.If i was around in the early 80's i would try to hard to look like him.

I would say '83. The music was 'fresh' and the look was 'fresh'. When I say fresh I mean new, different, cool, etc. People couldn't wait to see what he was going to do next.
In '88 people were looking at him like a freak and to be honest he was going a little to far with the look. I wasn't even feeling it...I defend almost everything he does. Prime aka The Kid

83, as he was fresh, by 88 he was getting stale. Besides his look was very Terence Trent D'Arby in 1988 as well. So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time | |

I always thought it was a little weird that he went back to the Dirty Mind / half naked look in '88. After wearing pants and suits for a few years why go back? He even said that he wore that stuff in the late 70's and early 80's to shock people and get noticed. I always thought it was a little weird...JMO
I wonder why he switched to pants for the late Controversy and 1999....I wonder if someone said "ok, time to switch it up...we're about to get big." Prime aka The Kid

83 by far. It's my top favorite eras. The music, the style. Plus I consider the 82/83 one of his more masculine eras. Witch is cool. Some people think I'm kinda cute

I have that same button too! But I have to go with 1983. I mean that look was the stuff. I remember he scared the flying dog mess out of me when I was younger. Even at like 10 and 11 years old, I knew he was "dirty". 
Not to mention the fact that everytime my mom laid eyes on him she was "he looks like rapist"  Not sure how a person can LOOK like a rapist, though. A pervert, sure...but I dug that look on Prince. I love a Man who:
