I probably have watched prince and the revolution live from Syracuse 25 or 30 times and it never ceases to leave me in utter awe. The pure organic ease of the dancing the unreal energy level the screaming guitar virtuosity puts all his 80s peers living or deceased to shame. While this fully realized version of p only lasted 5 or 6 years musical historians will look back in wonder on the prince that produced these truly inspired performances.

Ofcource it's my opinion what else is this site for if not that. My opinion is also that the musicology tour while cooler and more dignified lacked energy.

Depends which one your looking at, Detroit Musicology was insane.

Musicology tour was rocking NYC.

Musicology at the Meadowlands was blazing..he showed plenty of energy that night.

All of his live shows are off the hook. Even the morning shows (Today, Good Morning America) where he plays a couple of songs. Brilliant live performer!!!

Many of us agree with your premise, that P is the ultimate live performer....

But as individuals, we differ on which particular performance was/is our favoritesteded
