I didn't know what Sherm Stick meant. I'm not keen on terms for drugs or whatever. But I was watching COPS tonight, and they referred to some guy having used a Sherm Stick.

Looking it up, it's a blunt dipped in PCP. I had no clue people. Cut me some slack. lol (I've never done any drug, so I'm really blind to terms or slang for things.)

I thought of Prince, of course, because of the "Letitgo" remixes with the name Sherm Stick in them.

Wasn't it some kind of anagram? Switch some letters and it said someone had to call him or something. I remember reading that theory in Uptown I think. I think it was for an ex-employee of PP.

And oh, yeah, those remixes are excellent. Rarely mentioned, rarely discussed. Were they ever available on cd?

Actually ernest that is a popular misconception. It may be that some people have adopted the term "Sherm Stick" for a blunt dipped in PCP, but those people are using the term incorrectly because that's not what it actually means.

A Sherm Stick is actually a cigarette dipped in formaldehyde (embalming fluid) and it became popular in LA in the early 90's.

It's quite disgusting and morbid, but a lot of morgues/medical centres began to discover that the body parts they were storing began to rot. They discovered that this was due to people breaking in, stealing the embalming fluid and replacing it with water.

formaldehyde (embalming fluid) is one of the ingredients in PCP.

I remember hearing about that. One of my little brother's friends from when he was in school was on the news one night because he stabbed his infant niece while she was playing in a bouncer seat. He said that he thought she was a demon. He had made a habit of smoking wet and was just released from a mental institution weeks earlier.
