question for the real prince.orgers is lotus really worth my time

Was very disappointed in planet earth especially his lifeless vocals.Lotus is like 30 bucks in Canada while i can ofcourse afford it im tired of throwing my money to p and the his endless need for income.I did however really enjoy 3121 so is lotus really worth my time?

I would suggest you find a stream to listen to it online before you buy it. Everyone's experience is not going to be the same. As a whole, I did not enjoy it. If you are a Prince completist, then pick it up. If you just want to support his every endeavor, then pick it up. Out of about 30 songs, I only like 3.

the album = YES.

the web site = NO NO NO NO NO. no no no!

LF is not one of my favorite prince albums, but it's not one of my least favorite either. i think there's a lot to rummage around in with these three discs, and you'll find things you like, things you don't like, and things you don't know if you like or not, but you find interesting all the same.

there IS a curious and frustrating feeling of something being missing on these albums, but at the same time i feel like it's a much more ambitious project than planet earth was. LF at least feels more cohesive and that there was more of a game plan in place when putting these albums together.

so yeah, i'd recommend THE ALBUM.

I look at it the same way some look at Emancipation - between the three CDs, you can compile a fantastic single CD.

You might want to check out the track by track reviews for each and make up your mind.

Personally I say go for it.

um, it pisses all over The Gold Experience if that's any help. Also, this might be the first time P has used the word 'arrive' to describe climax, which one can only imagine is down to spending 2 months in the vicinity of Fuckingham Palace...

We all have an endless need for income. It called earning a living.
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Well, actually I would think that usage originally goes to International lover because it is used in that same term so to speak. And as far as the original ? Yes absolutely get the cds. They are more than worth it. Prince is straight up jamming on those discs and I love the music. MPLSound is the bomb and I will tell anyone that.
