Choose any PRINCE song and select an artist that u think could re -make it right . or would at least make a good effort. My choice is Deangelo, my song choice is Do me Baby.

i don't like covers of prince songs that much. i guess he could do an album
of himself covering his own songs.

i'm warming up to his new version of "in a large room with no light" so an
entire album of remade classic outtakes could be very nice.

another thing i always liked is when he used to play a prince song during
the come/gold era and state "we'd like to do a coversong by someone named
prince".

Are you serious?

Any artist that attempts this need to do them right.

Me'lissa Morgan pulled off "Do Me Baby" very well-she is the only one that I know of who did it right.

Annie Lennox- Nothing Compares 2 U (but I will say again and again that she could pull off an entire album of Prince songs and give them her own "vibe". As the youngins say: It would be amessing. .
Grace Jones- All the Critics Love U in NY Would be brilliant IMO! (perhaps even Something in the Water (Does Not Compute))

Actually I could see "Sexuality". That could be quite brilliant (though he probably would only allow "Spirituality" now and she'd just laugh, call him a Bitch and hang up the phone. )

While the scandalous subject matter would be fitting, the other two are too up-beat/sing-song-ish. I can't hear her doing them.
