They're featured on a song called "The Tea Leaf Prophecy" on the Chalk Mark in a Rain Storm album. It's not Joni's best album, but it's not bad either.

The song, Twisted. (originally a saxophone instrumental by Wardell Gray, with lyrics added by Annie Ross) which featured on Joni Mitchell's album, "Court and Spark", was performed during One Nite Alone soundcheck in 2002.

Rioub

He also performed "Blue Motel Room" twice in 1990.

Out of all the many live covers he has done, "A Case Of You" was the very first in 1984.

Prince offered her the track 'Emotional Pump', but she didn't use it. The track is not circulating.

IIRC, Joni was also at the meeting when Prince 'unveiled' ATWIAD for Warners.

yes:

Joni was at the release party for Around The World In A Day, at the record label's offices, 21. feb. 1985. Prince had invited Joni, his father and also 15 to 20 WB executives.

(..) In walked Prince with Wendy and Lisa holding flowers (..) the music was playing (..) The response was sort of like "what is this", "this isn't Purple Rain II"? (..) Prince just sat there quietly and watched the reactions. Right before it was over, Prince got up and left, leaving Wendy and Lisa to gauge the response. (..)

He often performed an instrumental version of Both Sides Now during his ActII gigs in 1993. During the guitar solo part of the concert.

He's had a thing for "A Case Of U" since the early eigthies and always played it at live shows and then finally put down a studio version on the One Night Alone piano album. It seems that was his favorite track by Joni. i'm wondering if he'll ever do a studio remake of "Just My Imagination", another song he's played a lot since the eighties.
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
