Listening to the radio 2nite, one of the standard phrases from this station is, “U never know what’s coming up next,” which went directly into Prince’s, “I would die 4 U.”

I listened to the song intently as I always do…2nite could have been the 2 thousandth time I have heard this song. When the song ended I said 2 myself, “Beautiful is just too small of a word.”

I remember when Prince would sing, “I’m your Messiah and you’re the reason why…U, I would die 4 U.” Later, Prince would point 2 the sky and sing, “He’s your Messiah.”

The songs lyrics wind down with…

I’m a dove

All that I really need is 2 know

I would die 4 U.

Well, A feeling came over me that knows how truly blessed Prince is. When inspiration comes into a writer, as I am…I know that I believe that the essence of GOD and I are 2gether.

I could easily believe that the “Holy Spirit,” had sat whole Soul within Prince 2 create this song.

This is Prince’s individual style of sharing the Gospel…What kinder words can their be?

“I would die 4 U,” is deeply appreciated by me and possibly Prince’s most immortal song of Prince’s entire body of work. Clearly one of the best songs ever written by anyone.

Most people have still got it wrong after all of these years.The song is meant to be a hypothetical poem from the point of view of God.As if God had wrote those lyrics to us,His Creation.I'm(God)your Messiah.Not Prince playing Messiah.Just imagine God singing those lyrics to you and you will get the point of the song.I(God in the form of Jesus) would die 4 u.If you're evil I'll(God)forgive you by and by.I'm(God)not human I'm a dove,I'm(God)your conscience I(God)am Love.In the Gospels God's Spirit comes down from Heaven in the form of a Dove.This song has been misunderstood from the time it was released.Which is why Prince started changing the lyrics when he would sing it live.

God = LOVE

Also it’s about:
The LOVE, living in all of us, when simply helping a brotha in need. The LIVING LOVE.
We are all special and we all got LIVING LOVE 2 share - LOVE4OneAnother.


Entering another person’s space, coming freely like a dove, sharing knowledge, sharing peronal gifts, sharing professions, whether this being streetwise or education and degree. * Sharing The Living Love.


Here’s an example:
"I’m a dove" -
A fireman, risking his life for you, a doctor a nurse, rushing by to help you, not knowing anything about you or what risks for their own life they are taking to safe yours! (U might have the most terrible disease that could effect their own life when dealing with you).

"I’m your conscious" -
A fireman a doctor, rushing by without hesitation, doing for you what Jesus would have done for you to save YOUR LIFE (lol, READ: "to save your ass!!!"
Read: "EVERYONE who’s saving your buttocks or helping you in any good way they can, without even knowing if you can pay them back for it or if you ever will be going to for whatever reason").

"I am love"-
That same fireman, doctor, nurse, or policeman, lawyer, neighbour, someone at the mall; everyone treating you with a lot of love and respect, the same he/she would do for his own family and friends, without even knowing anything about you and you being just a TOTAL STRANGER to them.

Jesus putting those words into their souls: "all that I really need is, 2 know that U believe that I would die 4 U".


This same fireman, doctor, nurse, whoever that is, while they are doing their daily jobs helping you WITHOUT condition, without knowing who you are or how much money you got, what disease U got, if you are ever at all gonna be able to pay for the treatment they are giving you right now, when you’re entering Intensive Care Unit, or find yourself in the midst of a fire... they are risking and still doing EVERYTHING FOR YOUR WELLBEING, WITHOUT HESITATION... treating you like A BROTHER/ A SISTER IN NEED... TREATING you like a GOOD neighbour... treating you LIKE JESUS WOULD HAVE treated you, without judgement or hesitations when he found you in your days of trouble, trials, tribulations and need.

Read: "because I truly believe you would have done the same for me. If you would have found me, laying unconscious or bleeding in the streets... and if you weren’t the one who could help me... you would have brought me to a doctor... if you would have found me starving, you would have given me food and water... if you found me in deep misery, you would have talked sense into me... all of this you would have done, simply to save my life...". READ:"Yeah, believe it or not, I truly believe you would have saved my behind too, man!!" (or if U can, imagine Jesus saying that to you, after you saved his life - what if God was one of us... huh?...).

Read: "I’m not thinking like humans, nor am I acting like one in this moment; like a dove I come free, sharing LOVE LIVING INSIDE OF ME."
(Could just as well be the man in the street, sharing a dollar when U are a few cents short. Perhaps he's a criminal, but in this moment he acts like Jesus would have. He's using his free will to LIVE the LOVE inside of him).


Think about it. This is not only about religion.
Immagine God singing this song to us all. "I would die 4 YOU". We are all part of God’s creation; every single one of us.

The biggest SINNER has LOVE LIVING INSIDE.
The man without religion has LOVE LIVING INSIDE.

We all have... to God we are all equal... he wants every single one of us to be safe... giving His Commandments for our well being and safe journey through life... sending us people who act in His Image & Spirit (without judgement or hesitation) along our path when things go wrong... to safe our life... to treat us like Jesus would have treated us.

This should tell us that God LOVES EVERY-SINGLE-ONE OF US.

It’s that LOVE LIVING INSIDE, which can bring the greatest sinner to HIGHER GROUND.

Funnily enough it struck me the other day when it popped up on my Ipod...

Being such a short and catchy number it goes unnoticed sometimes how deep and personal a statement it is...Prince is pretty much laying it on the line. Crept up on me unawares really - hadn't noticed much before but any way you look at it; it's one of his most profound songs.

Got a new appreciation for it...
