Did you go to the Rio. and if so what did u think about it?

i'd love to see some pics of the club, the stage and the band performing, but there's hardly any pics on the net... odd

Well, considering that I was at an aftershow at which Prince was practically in my lap, I'd say it was pretty damn cool.

It was a well cool place - loved the jazz cafe - especially when Prince and Shelia E played there - best night of my life ever

A weekend I will never forget. Had VIP seats right next to the stage then bolted early so I can get into that aftershow. Had a booth in the jazz room....Prince stood next to our booth dancing and even sat at our damn table for 5-10 minutes groovin to the band

It was pretty amazing! I saw 4 shows there

Went to 2 shows opening weekend and one of the final shows.

Really had a wonderful time.

Club was nice. Vegas is always fun! I now have a hard time going to Vegas if Prince isn't playing there.

Yep. Front row. P even put the mic in my face to sing the "Fella's" part in Lolita. Great show.

The best moment of the Club 3121 performances was seeing Prince do SOMETHING IN THE WATER. But a version I've never heard before and not on bootleg.

It was JUST the synths, drum loop (from the album) and Prince on vocals, did two verses. WOW, I was shocked...ppl around me were like 'what song is this?'.

Wished it got recorded.

It was sooooo cool seeing the symbol down the side of the Rio.

And all the promotional billboards and poster all over town.

No, but I was very excited about the entire 3121 era.

went to 2 shows in Feb 2007 and 2 aftershows. My most intense and personal exp. so far. Main shows were fantastic and almost like an aftershow. Twins grabbed me and I was on stage during Musicology.Got to meet and talk to Mr Hayes, Renato and even exchanged 2,3 words with the master himself.

Aftershow was something else, the neck of the hohner guitar was practically in my face and so being able to look at his fingers doing the magic (i´m a guitar player) was just unreal. He noticed that I am staring at the guitar and turned couple of times towards me so I could see the chord changes and stuff. What a night.

Took me 45 min to get from the Rio to the Tropicana where I was staying at 6.AM. Unbelievable.

omg!!!! dont even get me started!i loved 3121! i(almost) when i found out prince was going to open up the club there ,was thinking about quitting my job and getting a job there,(i was sooooo close to doing it!)it was amazing! i went every week!prince gave it 1000 percent!the after shows i will never forget!just to see prince walking around the club being carefree was worth it!he is my favorite,i cant(still) believe ,how lucky i am to live in vegas when he had his club!prince, vegas misses you!

I attended 2 shows and 1 aftershow.
All 3 were amazing and wonderfully different ~I felt the magical energy all around

I also had dinner at the 3121 restaurant.
It was a yummy and lovely experience

also had the pleasure of meeting with Mr.Hayes too.
He was so nice, pleasant and cool

These shows were some of The Best!
I had such a Great Beautiful time that i shall always remember~

I went to that club every day like a crazy person. Goin to that club was part of my day .1. Wake up.2.Go to work. 3.Buy an outfit. 4.Go to the Rio.!!!!! And i loved every minute.

Flew from Australia to catch two shows. They were great performances and the setlists each night had some major gems in them like hearing "Pink Cashmere" or "If I was Your Girlfriend."

Highlights for me were:

Dining at 3121 restaurant and meeting Genesia at the table next to me.

Prince bringing Elton John out for an Encore where EJ sang "The Long and Winding Road".
DJ Rashida playing some old school jams in the lead up to get the crowd going (including some MJ tracks that I wasn't expecting)
Hearing 3121 live as the opening one night, and then Joy In Repetition the next.
Meeting some awesome people there.

Getting into two intimate after shows and being literally next to the man for the majority of them.

Well worth the trip.
