In the wake of the death of pop icon Michael Jackson, I am saddened,hurt and heart broken. I am taking it way harder than I thought I would, I realized just how much Michael's music had an influence on me as a young child. I eventually gravitated more towards Prince as I got older, ( not to draw a comparison ) just personal taste and Prince sang about things I could relate to. It became harder to listen to Michael Jackson. The plastic surgery, the rumors of addiction to pain pills, I always wondered who had his best interest and if he was going to be ok.

I guess I said all of this just to say that, although tomorrow is promised to no one, I am glad Prince is healthy, alive, not addicted to drugs, and I am so glad he made healthy decisions to stay clean and take care of himself all of these years. Life really is precious, we should all take care of ourselves to the best of our ability and let God do the rest. This is a very emotional post for me so if I am writing something unnecessary forgive me. This is one of the few writings I have wrote since the tragedy.

Again, Prince, thank you for taking care of yourself.

how can we really know anything that prince does in privacy?

I hope he takes better care of his money than MJ did.
