Help: Best Live Jams Compilation I'm putting together a compilation just for fun of live versions of songs that either a)never appeared on an album, or b)absolutely shit on the studio versions, or c)have really nice arrangements, preferably different from their album versions. Some examples are: Camden Just My Imagination '88, Days of Wild (Beautiful Experience), The Ride (from Sacrifice of Victor), Gotta Broken Heart Again (Live at Aladdin), Vanguard Jam, Musicology (Much Music)...etc
Don't care if they're official releases or not, anyone got any ideas for particular performances I should check out? Thanks! Take it - like Clarence said:

The Trojan Horse "Just My Imagination" is better than Camden, IMO.
The "piano" version of "Something in the Water" is great - much different from the official, 1999 version. "Electric Intercourse" from the 8/3/83 show. "Calhoun Square" from the 8/28/07 Indigo aftershow. "In a Large Room With No Light" from Club Nokia. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

The "Days of Wild performance from the Emporium - I'll have to check the date but I know it was a Gold experience after-show. It's a much slower, longer version which also includes "Hair". Sounds different from the many other live versions.
Also "Beautiful Strange" from Xenophobia 2002 is way different from the two recorded versions. Also "Peach" from the "One Nite Alone... It ain't over" album is way diffrent than the one released on the hits compilation. Can you give me any more info on that performance please? Let me clarify: I was wondering what the date of the performance was, that's all. Face Down Live in NYC is a little vague. Take it - like Clarence said:
