I don't think he would go, the family would make the funeral private...but I do think he WILL pay his respects directly to the family and would participate in a memorial concert...because you all do know that their WILL BE A MEMORIAL CONCERT for MJ. Can't imagine that there wouldn't be.

The real question is, what song of MJ's would Prince sing???? Whatever song it will be, P will definitely put his personal twist on it.

i think it will be the biggest funeral ever, bigger than diana's so he might go

I think he would want to go along with Madonna, but there are scared or annoyed about the paparazzi there, lack of security could make it hard. And yes I grew up with Michael Jackson, discovered him before Prince, my earliest music memories are watching the chart show here and seeing "the girl is mine" at number one in December 1982. I was 6 and then enjoying Thriller and Bad (we hadboth records) and my little cousin even went nuts over Bad when he was only 4.

NO I don't think Prince will go and I don't think its because of his ego or anything else. Prince did not go to Miles Davis's funeral and that was one of his musical mentors they were very close.

Also I need to remind people that Prince didn't go to his own mother's funeral!! Nor did he go to his adoptive mothers funeral.

PRINCE DOESN'T DO FUNERALS!!! I mean his own momma ya'll. Let's not take this as an opportunity to diss Prince guys. Let's grieve this great loss in our own way and allow Prince the same opportunity.[u]
