F MJ! Jealous freak! He started calling himself the 'king of pop' only after Prince started making it big. Always wanted to one up P. Prince gets hot...all of a sudden MJ becomes the 'king' .Even named his son Prince. Prince starts dating all of these hot singers/actresses/etc. MJ starts dating Emanuel Lewis, McCauley Culkin. 1. Funerals are for the living, NOT the dead
2. At Prince's DC show on 03/12/06 he did a medley of Janet/Michael Jackson. Actual quote from P: "you can't do the sister without doing the brother..." ... crazy vibe filled the air followed by awkward looks (between me and friends)... 
P. obviously witnessed and respects the business acumen of the Jackson clan. I'd be surprised if he didn't make some sort of statement / appearance. RIP MJ. Before current events I'd been re-discovering my love for your 'disco years'. "On the Floor (Holy Ghost! Re-Edit)" has been keeping me on the treadmill at the gym! Today was a very sad day for me.
The first two albums that I had was Thriller and Purple Rain. If you are younger than 30 you would not remember what the music vibe was like in 1983 when MJ was ruling the airwaves only to be challenged and dethroned by His Royal Badness in 1984. MJ saved music and even ushered in the current era that we are still in now some 26 years later. We need another MJ to move us out of the current stale ass Hip-Hop/Rap era that we are now in. i am pretty sure prince is in the state of shock just like everyone else is but i think he will pay his respect in some other way. It is just a scary feeling how both michael and prince are the same age and people have also been criticizing prince's weight and questioning his health for quite some time now | |

I don't know if it's necessary for him to go to the funeral but it would be really big of him to at least acknowledge Michael in some way. Even if it's a few words or a song, something is better than nothing. Prince may do something private and it's his right to do it like that but I would like to see something from him with this. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

It's such a big loss for the music world..so much good musicians passed this year away Prince should be at MJ's funeral..I'm sure he will. Rest in peace, Michael, your music videos were the best!
