So it seem like prince finally got to IMEEM.com...all his videos been removed.
Incase you didnt know, this was one website that you could find all the rare stuff, music, aftershows, concert footage, videos , loads of never b4 seen gems.. I had my filling.. now its gone...SAD! Why do us fans even bother...I know its his stuff and he is free to do what he wants, but at the end of the day its his loss, I know many fans who became fans via sites like these...anyway ,I wish one day prince would wake up and realize he has no fans left...ZERO!
He has nothing to gain by doing this shit..I mean its not like his site Lotusflow3r is providing fans anything worth the price..as far as I know Imeem was/ is free and had loads of great rare shit that kicked ass..I would pay them $77.

Don't blame this on Prince. Pretty much every unofficial video on that site has been pulled. They announced they were changing their policy on Wednesday.

This is just like the youtube situation. You just gotta be willing to do your homework and really look for stuff. There's still stuff out there.

yea i saw that too i also saw on dailymotion that most of the sound from the vids on there are gone too but that mite of just been my comp playing up i dunno

it WAS PRINCE. folks i know got their accounts closed over the shit. some people left afterwards because it just got to be too difficult to enjoy anything prince related. what the purple dude wit stick up his ass fails to realize is that no one was making money off of these vidz. in fact, new fans were made because of the vidz. people were wanting to go out and buy his old music because of what they saw on imeem and wanted to buy his latest release even more.

this was about fans who loved the music and the footage sharing it with others, this was not about profiting off of his hard work which is how his dumb ass (i luvs u princey but U R an idiot) perceives it. I mean he could have put all that stuff on lotusflow3r but does he? hell nah. you paid 70 plus bucks for a whack ass website that is not as much fun as an iphone.

folks who originally leaked the shit worked for him so that goes to show how much respect he garners from his inner circle. the vidz will resurface and so will the music, he can't stop it. he will waist money trying too.

I love you Prince but I have more respect for MJ right now and he's been dead for 10 days.

The only videos you'll see from any artist is official music videos.

There's still plenty of music on the site.

If you type in a song from any artist under the Music category, it will come up.

You can still share music with other people.

Blaming this on Prince is pathetic, because Imeem changed their policy on user generated videos.

Record sales are down across the board, BECAUSE of sites like Youtube, Imeem, etc.

So, Prince can do on every T.V. show, have his songs all over the radio, allow his videos on these sites, and his record sales would still be down.


Since Youtube and sites like it have become popular, record sales have dropped off dramatically.

What good what it do sales wise for him to have his videos on these sites when people don't buy albums???

all they had to do was require only a limited number of songs can be sold on line and push physical merchandise more. I doubt artist post millenium will even have a catalog which will lead to merchandising for collectors... Beyonce maybe as an example. I do miss browsing items from The Doors ...Jimmy Hendrix etc
