I wouldn't want to be validated only on what I did years ago.

I don't understand, I mean I understand, but I don't in response to what?

I'm not judging him entirely on what he did in the 80's but I looking at the life put into it.

Like I've said, started following Prince again when Musicology came out, but not like I did in the 80's. I really like LotusFlow3r but I think as a FAN with a certain expectation, I was a bit let down not by the music (I enjoy it) but there seems to be no quality around it.

I remember getting ATWIAD(one of my favorites) and he didn't do much(didn't tour the album and only 1 animated video 1 live video) but he put out 3 singles and 3 amazing bsides) and a couple of good interviews surrounding the album

That was enough for to really dig the project even more. He didn't even do live promo, just 3 singles/bsides

There was also the artwork that came in&out with the album, the words the credits etc 4 me that's enough it's like a little present

I was hoping for a little more with Lotusflow3r, the album casing I never pull out to look at for gain a bit of insight into Prince as I usually do with an album of his

I feel that Prince is a 51 year old man with a few medical problems (hips) that are slowing him down. He is in semi-retirement. The best was 20 years ago, just like with many working people in their 50-60s. It doesn't means he or anyone else can't do a great job, but it is a different job. And he has earned the semi-retirement. We just all expect him to be in his 20's again. The music business has changes so much too. I have nothing but respect for the man and will remain a fan if he never does another album or show. The body of work speaks for itself.

I'm not looking for him to be in his 20's

give me 2 singles, maybe 1 bside
I'll even take 1 good quality video
how about a few behind the scenes photoshoots and 1 interview talking about the albums music

I don't think U have 2 be in your 20's to do that.

I'm a big fan of George Benson but I don't look for that spark from him the way I do from Prince,
