What happened to Love Symbol Album? I was shopping on iTunes the other day and noticed they no longer sell Love Symbol Album. I also checked Rhapsody and you can only listen to 30 seconds of most of the tracks, not buy it. I also don't see it on Best Buy's website. WHAT HAPPENED TO IT? | |

it may go under a different name at each site, since it doesn't have an officially pronounceable name. | |

I have 2 of them.
1 without the symbol and 1 with the symbol

Someone posted something about it on the org one time. Another example is Diamonds and Pearls I have 1 that has a hologram on the front and another 1 without the hologram

Subsequent pressings had the Symbol printed on the booklet and used a standard WB embossed jewel-case.
The Euro pressings of Diamonds And Pearls had a blue tinted booklet cover without a hologram. US pressings got the hologram on a full color booklet. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

Its still in print but there aren't that many floating around as usual. The Gold Experience is definately out of print so if you don't have that one you better find one on the net because one day they will be all gone just like the limited copies of the Black Album from 1994. __________________________________________________

It would be a damned shame if this album is lost to memory.
It was a fierce album, and instrumental in my converting 3 of my friends to Prince fans. | |

I was in a used record store yesterday and they had a couple of used European copies of @ $5.99. I never noticed before how much nicer the Euro is. It's a shinier and thinner shaped silkscreen. The US version is more of a matte finish with a chunkier . The "Offensive Language" sticker is in color and adhered to the jewel case on the Euro version, as well.If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

You're wrong on this point, the first german press came with the hologram. | |
