Giggles.....man ya'll always make my ribs hurt. For real there is still much for Prince to do. I would like Prince to really get free and find the real truth that is free of bondage and nothing but grace. I also think it would be a waste of good genes not to have a baby with a quality woman. I hate to say it but I think he needs to take a long break and find real life again so that he can write things that really mean something to him and come from his heart. He also needs time to heal from all that has happened in his life. He needs time alone with God not people telling him who God is but go away take a King James bible and ask for understanding and don't come back until you get it. Than God will tell him what is next in his life.

A book would be nice, but I couldn't see it getting released until after he dies. He wouldn't want to promote it.

I would also like to see something like Purple Rain the Musical. Maybe even him writing an original musical that tells a great story.

A great LIVE cd or boxed set would make me happy. A boxed set (video and audio) of each tour in a boxed set.

P could definitely take some lessons from MJ on releasing old material. Maybe he's saving the reissues for when he officially retires or can't work anymore.

he wrote songs for I ll Do Anything..with nick nolte...originally that movie was planned as a musical...test audiences hated it so they changed it into a normal movie and prnces music was cut out

his live dvds and cds suck ass..always have, always will...takes some true talent to fuck up a legit release and make illegit bootleg releases of the SAME concert even sound better than the official release...shitt, i´d rather have a good audience recording of a hot show, uncensored,than an edited and cheesy live release by prince, probably recorded from korean tv and released on crappy VHS format..

dude will one day depend on fans bootleg to release a proper anthology.

Movies like Footloose and Legally Blonde have been adapted to the Broadway stage and have done extremely well. I think PR would also do well. The only major problem would be P wanting control over everything.

I don't think P's released live material (video or audio) sucks. I just think that whoever has done the editing for what's out there fails to capture the essence and feeling of a true Prince concert experience.

I recently got the new Stevie Wonder live DVD and I must say, it felt just like being at the show. The editing did not take away from the concert experience. Prince should take note of this.

When I say he should take lessons from MJ, I don't mean remixing or reworking a song with new hot artist, but issue outtakes and demos of his recordings.

In recent years, MJ has released LOTS of outtakes. I love the Special Editons of Thriller (NOT Thriller 25) and Off the Wall. Also, the Ultimate Collection (Boxed Set). Those cds contain LOTS of great outtakes).
