One Night Alone cd.

Recieved the one night alone with the members box.

I dont understand the negativity that sourrounded this cd; I think it is magnicifent; great and pure JOY.

Here on the org. I have (almost) only read negative comments about it; whats up with that ?

by the way; in another tread people write that there isnt enough crowd noise on ONA Live; HELLO this is music; we want to hear the music not the crowd noise; I am sure that if there was more crowd noise, some people would diss that.

It¨s great, thou, that people are "taking stands" on prince music, but remember; POSITIVITY.

Henrik; the dane from sweden.

tom, it's one thing to say you didn't like it (opinion)...it's another to say it fuckin' sucked or it's a piece of trash (negativity)...see the difference?

I agree with you henrik. I only just recieved it too with ONA Live. I was expecting it to be crappy but I think I've listened to it more than the Live CDs! I played it to my father and I respect his musical opinion (even though he absolutely HATES Prince!), but the only negative comment he could say was "Why does he sing like a girl" which is a good thing becuase usually he just says "turn that s**t off!". (I think I may be starting to convert him!!!). The album has also got me playing the piano again. I think it's just as good as The Truth even though in the thread that compared them, 90% of the responces said The Truth was better.

As for the crowd noise it ONA Live, some people like the noise because it gives you more of a feeling that you're actually there. But I get sick of hearing those screaming girls especially on the solo piano tracks on the second disc. Shut up and listen! - he's a MUSICian, listen to the MUSIC!

I think the crowd noise is fine except for on the very first track (Rainbow Children). You'd think there'd be a huge uproar when he first enters the stage, but you can hardly hear anything from the crowd. I think they could've turned up the crowd volume just on that one song. Everywhere else, it's not really something I even consider to be noticeable. I don't think about it, at that point I'm so into the music, you know.
