" The Everlasting Now live "( Jay Leno Show Review)

Yes!! Prince is back live on television! It has been a while now and it could not have come in a better time with the Tuesday official release of the, " One Nite Alone Live 3 cd set." Prince did perform his Rainbow Children selection, " The Everlasting Now." Infact he performed it for almost 5 minutes! He had expanded his group a bit for this performance including Shiela E on the percussions and Eric Leeds on the Saxaphone! It was really good! Prince was very excited and that came across very clear!! His band was as tight as ever! Prince used his tan stratercaster guitar for this cut and gave the audience a terrific solo during the tune! There was even a short introduction to Sheila E by Prince followed by an extremely short percussion solo during the bridge of the song! The Horns sounded great! Of course Maceo Parker and Greg Boyer were there to enhance the jam, as well as Renato Neto on the keys, Rhonda Smith on the bass, and John Blackwell on the drums!! Hopefully it wont be another year or so before Prince comes back on the show! Jay Leno gave Prince a bow at the end of the performance, with strong appreciation and gratitude for making an appearance! Nicky Tuzio
