In the Purple Rain videos, there are several scenes that appear that aren't in the movie: Jerome and Morris running across The Kid's front lawn at night laughing, Morris looking over his shoulder at a passing police car; and Apollonia walking through a "cloud" of multi-colored balloons (although this may have been in an old trailer I remember, not a video).

I've read the screenplay and there were tons of things not included in the released version. Also, I'm aware that movies are routinely hacked to pieces for a variety of reasons before their final edit.

Is anyone aware of there being outtakes of the film circulating? Or have you heard rumors about this?
