My friend and I have been going back and forth on this one for a while now. My guess is that he does NOT but probably HAS in the past. My friend is convinced he still does from time to time. Now, obviously, neither of us know the guy. I think his general disposition points to him not being a stoner, but my friend brings up a good point: "You don't write funk like THAT and NOT smoke a little weed"
So what does everyone think? Discuss...

but prince seems really uptight toward drugs in general, in his music, interviews... I'm sure he's tried it

I remember once hanging out with some folks smoking weed and I got high just from inhaling the air in the room, it's pretty potent stuff.

Well I used to be a heavy weed smoker but I'm totally sober from all drugs and alcohol now. I used to contemplate the thought of Prince trying it and why wouldn't he cuz I loved listening to his music stoned. I read up on him and came to find that Morris Day and others around him puffed herb while growing up but Prince seemed to be the straight edge type that just didn't mess with it. He may have tried it and not liked it. I think if he had gotten into it deeply stoner style we wouldn't have the same Prince we have today. So in my opinion I think he was above The only thing I have heard about him with drugs is a short ecstasy run during the Black Album but who knows if that is even true only Prince and his closest friends would really know

Prince doesn't smoke, and he has never tried it, imo.
