And I'd deal with a ghost writer. There's only one person that could truly do that. Alan Leeds. you forgot to mention he did a "perfume" ok, well a Fragrance.
I'd like to see a MPLS re-union. Time, Family, Sheila, etc preceded by a closed door "confessional" mtg. where he sincerely confesses his wrongs towards them/others, and repents of his controlling ways and learns how to have AUTHENTIC relationships based on unconditional love. Heck, even reconnect with Vanity, Apples, Mayte, and Mani and "heal" from the insecurities that fueled and/or exacerbated the unhealthy aspects of those relationships. Then do a Welcome to The Dawn reunion TOUR!!!!

He'll never do that. I think he'll work until he can't. I see him being like Curtis Mayfield. Curtis was still writing music even after his accident. [Edited 5/26/09 15:18pm] **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

In an issue of Rolling Stone , sometime in the 1990s Mick Jagger was interviewed and asked about Prince and his competition and said that he had nothing to worry about as far as what was around at the time. He then went on to say that he had "out performed himself."
I'm going just from memory here and perhaps I'm even slightly off topic but, does anyone remember this article or, what I'm getting at?

Prince knows that the Winter of Life is time for reminiscing with good friends and settling down with a best friend and a blue light. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

I know I'm not the only one here, and elsewhere, that believes he's just cruising and has been for some time.

Well, at some point, Prince (or someone) should go a remaster/take care of his back catalogue.
It is a shame the way his past work has been neglected. Prince is one of the biggest, most important, musicians of our time, and someone needs to give his art the treatment/update/reissue it deserves. Lesser music acts have had a really good and proper treatment of their past works. Prince (and his fans) deserve better. We'd also gladly pay out the nose if it was done right. IMO..none of this is your business & if it was he would have already made it known. Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.
