I am pretty sure he's tried it, but I doubt he's a smoker. And his music is not very stoney to me. He tries sometimes, like with The Rainbow Children or Lotus, but he still sounds very sober to me.

I would be less surprised to learn he used more coke than weed, especially while dating Vanity.
