They're certainly quite similar... but as people have already mentioned, the
track at the end of The Undertaker is merely the extended outro to Dolphin. Prince has done similar extended outros and intros in the studio and live many times. There was another thread not so long ago saying that it was the same as The Rainbow Children too. It just sounds a bit similar, that's all. [Edited 5/26/09 7:13am] | |

i think this rhythm is a kind of "basic" that he tends to lock into
simply to overlap it with solo's or interesting twists and turns. like boris said, he's used this several times before, either on the studio material or in live shows. i like the way they sound alike though since it kind of makes for a nice bridge between where prince sonny and michael were at in 1993, and where they are at now, working together again. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
