Could it be that Prince is still into alchemy? After the Soapstone Symbol, the Gold Experience , the Children of the Sun and the Rainbow Children, i just found this on the web

Already knew this... 'm an Egyptian freak...love their culture, history and everything about them...they'r fascinating. was very happy upon having learnt when Prince ntitled his album with the name Lotus Flow3r.
As 4 the thread about the Prince symbol... find it a bit confusing especially the bit about the soapstone...what is the xact meaning of that...and y is it satanic? Cms 'll have 2 reserch it myself...

The Egyption connections throughout most of his post 80s (and even during) is fascinating. I too am obsessed with this culture and history.

P has been interested in Alchemy since discovering the symbol, this is nothing new (not saying you did not say that). I remember finding the book in Borders books and there was a font, the (+> in the book and it was reading/talking about what that symbol reflected.

I had a partial interest in Alchemy but my religion does not condone it. Personally speaking, I still read up on it anyway.

Someone else mentioned that "From the Lotus" is spoken 1st in the song "3121" on the album of the same name. curiously, the song closes with "its going down like the wall of berlin!
