From the Lotus... & Back 2 the Lotus sound very Al di Meola inspired (Especially Back 2 the Lotus) I was just listening to From the Lotus... & Back 2 the Lotus (which are two tracks that i find very underrated) and noticed that especially in Back 2 the Lotus at approximately 2:05 the guitar sounds very Al di Meola like.
Incase you don't know who he is this is some of his work (Amazing fusion guitarist) Yes i know not these specific examples show it directly but even these do sound a touch alike. You get the idea
