"The Document" in stores Tuesday 5/19?

I am sorry if this has already been mentioned but in todays San Francisco Chronicle's pink section(Datebook) Prince is listed on the "Discs In Stores Tuesday" page. It could be a mistake, but it says-PRINCE"The Document" CD/DVD (United States of Dist.) I don't know if it is an official release or not but I can't believe the Chronicle would list an unofficial item. Does anybody know anything about this?

PRINCE The Document (2009 UK 2-disc [CD/DVD] set - Now into the fourth decade of a quite remarkable carer in music, Prince Nelson Rodgers continues to release albums at a rate artists half his age can only dream of and performs shows with such passion and electricity he can fill seventeen nights in the UKs largest indoor venue with ease. This CD/DVD 2 disc set celebrates the astonishing longevity and extraordinary music of Prince, and features a full length DVD documentary covering his most important period in the 1980s, and a CD biography and interview disc revealing the true story of the man, much of it straight from the horses mouth. Presented in a picture slipcase complete with a picture booklet containing rare photos and a Bonus Poster.).

It's a bootleg. Not Prince endorsed or otherwise.

Thanks. I have been looking into it a little more and if they can't even spell his name right, it probably is not worth getting. I still can't believe The Chronicle has it listed under new releases.

Wasn't that the one that even had the name of "When Doves Cry" wrong? And they called him "Prince Nelson Roger" or something like that? Sounds worthless to me.

I am curious about the poster. What picture would it be?

I am not sure about the "When doves Cry", but it says his name is Prince Nelson Rodgers.

it got the number of days he sold out the 02 wrong as well, it said 17 instead of 21. i doubt P would do a doc. that solely focused on his 80s work. why feed the politics of nostalgia

Actually technically it's not a bootleg.

Just because it's unauthorised, it's not a boot unless it infringes copyright which I doubt a it's a documentary.
