It's Salma but yes the song is referring to her and her daughter. Just somewhere in the middle,

I liked it the first time I heard it. Now I press skip evertime it comes on. For some reason it has gotten on my nerves. Not many of Prince's songs do that to me: Infact I can't think of another one off-hand.  | |
