Prince is Jesus he will never die, ever

There is only one Jesus and that job has been filled for the last 2,000 years giggle

I thought Jesus was the kiddie-fiddler in The Big Lebowski? He wore purple by the way.

May the 13th will go down as the most humorous day on the Org. For me anyway. First we have Ernest and mzkqueen battling it out then we have another thread with the same two and now we have this! You couldn't buy this entertainment. Not even for $77!

I'm sure Prince doesn't bother himself with reading threads on the Org. He's a multi-millionaire so he's not gonna be bored shitless and wasting moments of his life surfing one of his fansites (how fucking vain would that be?). The chances of him seeing the piccie of his boxed-up self are slimmer than him in skinny jeans.

I enjoy the new stuff but not all of it. I enjoy the old stuff but not all of it. I'm entitled to an opinion on it whether it's good or bad. Or even if it just ain't my cup of tea. I couldn't really give a fuck whether someone agrees or not or whether they even bother to read my posts. Or do I....?

But anyway I'm sure he'll live a few years more yet. It's not as though he's working in some shitty factory doing night shifts, working under asbestos roof-tiles and on a poor diet of supermarket food and the odd take-away. Now that kind of life will put you in the grave upon hitting 50 sooner than anything else. When you look at that and how many of us live it then death starts to look like a blessing. Happy days wink

Oh and Ernest, about the photo, where the fuck did you find such a fancy coffin!? Some people must have soooo much fucking money! Money to burn in fact. I'll get me coat...

Well in reality, I thought about that! That coffin was way off the hook. But honestly.....Google Images. I never looked at the price. It reminded me of a Mary Kay car. hehehe

Clearly, I have read the last 3 pages of your rebuttals...its what lead to me saying you are arrogant!! Your demand that I read what you have written, as though I haven't, is arrogance in itself. Jeesh!

Anyone else get the irony of Ernest being upset and taking it personally about the suggestion he is a "dead horse"?!

Now now, don't misquote me. I never TOOK it personally, I said people GOT personal about it, and asked that you not make it personal as well, attacking ME instead of the picture itself. I was trying to be nice since you came at me in a more logical and normal way than others did.

And dig up, I never DEMANDED you do anything. My words were "I encourage you to go read...", which is NOT a demand, it's a suggestion. It's defined as "inspire with confidence; give hope or courage to", and it was the truth; what else could I have said to you that I didn't already say to someone else in the past three pages (which is about 2.5 too long I think, but it's a free world)?

Can't we all just get along?

Was it ernestsewell that made the complaint? He's very yin-yang that way.

LOL Stop that. It wasn't me, silly. haha I know the mods are watching, and I've tried to handle myself the best I way appropriate for Prince.org. I've also said if they feel the need to drop the pic, they can. I wouldn't fight it.

SQ, you're saucy! hehehe lol

I never saw that movie, but my friend Lisa loves it. WHen her husband was still a date, the first date they went on was in some limo, and they were driven to some field, and watched that movie in the back of the limo, and drank champagne. It was SO her. She loves the movie, but the clips I've seen while surfing channels...I had no clue what was going on. hahaha

Oh, I'd be VERY sad when he dies. I've said before in this thread of insanity that I would HATE the day he dies. I've thought about my favorite and most beloved artists passing, and how horrible I'd feel. I mean, even playing all their albums non-stop wouldn't be enough to sooth the grief I'd feel. I mean, I'm human, and I'd grieve, and I'd get past it. But my God...PRINCE dying? It's a wicked thought. Janet Jackson not making sexy songs and having a great dance video ever again? HORRIBLE! Even someone as far gone as Michael Jackson dead? It'd be the end of an era.

I'm more scared that there is no really great people coming up behind these folks to take their place. There are imitators (like User, Chris Brown or Ne-Yo that mimick MJ's moves and music), but there isn't a lot of REAL, fresh, and original talent that will take the reigns of the kind of originality and creativity that MJ, Prince, Janet, Madonna, Bruce...etc have put out there.

But maybe by the time those people die off, I'll be too old to give a shit anyway.

I was very sad when Rick James died. disbelief NObody makes R&B funk like that anymore.

eek This thread just won't die lol Seriously, Prince has given us all great joy with his music and I will really be sad when he does pass away. I mean some of us may go before him, but if I'm still around when that day comes it will truly be a sad day for me sad heart ya Prince.

Totally agree. (The thread should die aka be locked, but Prince needs to stick around for another few decades at least.)

I usually don't play Prince music every day, but today I'm in 90's mode again. I think I'll put on some COME, then Exodus.
