The closest thing that comes to mind is The Rainbow Children. I can honestly say that I only like 3 songs on that whole disc. Digital Garden, Everywhere, and The Everlasting Now.

New Power Soul would have come closest if "The One" and "Come On" weren't on it. Even then the songs I like, I don't exactly love.

But for the most part, even on Prince albums I don't like, he still has far more actual songs that I do like than most artist are able to give me on their own albums.

I mean, I consider an album by Madonna, MJ, Springsteen, Nine Inch Nails, or even Radiohead a success if I like at least 4 or 5 songs from the album.

The Vault comes close for me, but it's more that I'm bored by most of the songs, not that I dislike them totally.

Emancipation bored the crap out of me. I can't think of one single track that i really like on tht album...

Apart from Letitgo, Papa and Dark it is one of the poorest Prince albums ever.

I absolutely hated Goldnigga, so much so that I threw it away.

I regret doing so now . . . not because I want it in my collection, but because I could sell it for a shitload of money now . . .

The Rainbow Children...just wasn't "into" it. I went to see him in concerct around that time and loved that, but not any of those songs.
