~Even at the center of the Fire, there is cold.~

This line from Prince's, "Gold." jumped into my head this morning while I was studying for my final this afternoon in Astromomy 101...which is a fascinating subject that I am interested in knowing deeper things about.
Sometimes our exploring minds can look 4 things that we don't exactly find.

This morning, I was into the nucleus of a comet, knowing that a comet only shines by reflection and does not give off any light of it's own, however, the definition of the comet nucleus iz....Point of light, which caused me to go on a mental journey searching for glowing ice withing a heated flared substance somewhere in the Solar System...so I could come online and tell U all where I found this cold inside of fire. Well I didn't... sad

Does anybody know what scientific example there is to claim this Prince lyric as physical proof? I'm just curious. cool

"Gold," a great song of course.

That is an interesting thought, although dry ice is frozen Carbon Dioxide, that through the process of sublimation goes directly from a solid to a gas.

I was trying to find a place where something cold or frozen inside of something hot enough to burn as a heat source that gives off radiation.

A scientist may know if this is possible...so I'm looking... cool

At the centre of a flame there is a vacuum and I believe that the temperature in this vacuum is cold compared to the flame itself! How's that Tame?

A very severe burn can be icy. The fire is so hot that its cold. i couldn't quote a mathematical equation, but its physically true. i have experienced a burn so hot that it feels cold at its most severist point. Thats pain. i accidently reached into a hot grease fryer for a hasbrown that fell out of its basket at McDonalds when i was 16 or 17. That hurt. The worst burn i ever experienced.
