PrintableI've often thought of Prince as "eccentric" but never weird or crazy. I find so much in his music and lyrics that touch me or move me that I could never be critical in the way some folks are. I would certainly expect someone with that much talent to be different than the average bear. If you like the music, what difference does it make if you would like the artist that you don't even know personally? | |

But when people don't or can't see how much real talent he has, THAT bothers me. Yup. Most times, I agree with folks too. But when they have no inkling of a clue as to why he leaves Madonna, MJ, and all his peers in the dust. Indeed, when they actually think MJ or Madonna have more talent....that's when I think his P&R really sucks. A lot of that's his own doing IMO. Our Princey is the queen of self-sabotage.
