When U Were mine is a very good song and a real classic. It has an enduring quality that make me come back to it every now and then.

Might be my favorite Prince song of all time. Definitely my favorite album. First song I learned how to play on guitar.

Love it...maybe seems to short and sweet for some of the earlier songs that Prince built his long lasting career on...although, If I say "Love it." it's a really big love.

My absolute favorite Prince song of all time. My only disappointment is that I've still never heard it performed live. (I've heard recordings of live performances, but never actually been there for one.)

One of my friends described the Conga Room version as "Beatles with a touch of Ramones."
