I just got mine about 2 years ago from someone I met thru Housequake, he sent it to me free.

One of my all time favorite Prince albums. It's a great cd and very much worth it. I have a copy from the boxset i bought from the npgmc website. The store version of the boxset didn't have it for some reason. "Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion" -- Martha Graham

The studio album is the piano album. There's only one. ONA Live is the 3CD set. 101 said: ForbiddenFruit said: ebay, 101 euro.

I have an extra copy that is still sealed. I kinda wanna know what it's worth, too. Thinking of selling it. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

The retail ONA Live Box Set never had the ONA Piano. Only the Club Box Set would have had the Piano album as a bonus. Club members were promised a certain amount of CDs as part of their $100 and an extra copy of ONA Piano was offered as a sort of make-good. I have 2 copies . . . one is unopened, and might be for sale in the not-so-distant future. I will post it here when it goes up on eBay.
The opened copy (my "keeper", and "playing copy") has a crack in the clear plastic center hub. Somehow, my office chair leg came down on my CD wallet RIGHT ON THAT DISC. Of course it couldn't be ANY other disc that I could just replace! Didn't matter, because there is no damage to the playing surface. Anyway, it really is a gem of an album, and a nice treat to club members. That and TRC were the resurgence of my faith in Prince as a singer/songwriter.

I think he should have added it to the retail box, but oh well. I like both ONA's regardless. That's what I'm hoping the new website will have, unreleased albums or rare tracks to download, or better yet, buy. Well I won the auction... $203. I'm sure I'll be pleased with it. It's not as bad as when I paid $40 for The Gold Experience and found it the VERY NEXT DAY for $8.99. Now I just need Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic and Golanigga and my Prince collection will be complete. Are you ready for Jehovah's return? Cuz if you not *holds up TRC*

Just be careful when purchasing Goldnigga. There are lots of counterfeits on the market. I'm sure that the fakes are quality items, but if you want the real item, probably the 16-track vs the 15-track, just do your homework and go through a reputable source. Housequake had a nice page on to how to spot a counterfeit, but of course, that's gone. An easy way to spot some fakes is that they may include the 2Gether remixes on the same CD. 2Gether was a separate CD Maxi-Single. There are also 3 versions of Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic (all in jewel cases). One had Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic incorrectly printed on the spine of the tray card. Another was sold at Paisley Park for $5 with no artwork, just the CD in a jewel case. I assume this was because of the misprint. Then there was a third with the correct printing on the spine with full artwork. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
