I ran across something called Purple Rain early print. It is supposed to be an early edit of the Purple Rain film without some of the sound effects added and scenes that were not included in the final edit of the film. Has anyone seen this? Does it contain the lost scene of the kid punching out jelly bean? Or the barn scene?

No. It is missing some of the background score, and it does have a little longer version of Prince and Appolonia's fight when she's drunk. Also, a few lines that were later overdubbed are still intact.

Has a few extended scens though like the "not"Lake Minetonka scene, Apples states that Prince was really good the night before and he states that "I just got lucky."

The Morris seduction scene before Prince plays The Beautiful Ones where he states "Im gon' make u love me" lines are sans music and atmpsophere sounds.

I did not say there was never "any" of those scenes filmed.

I wish there was a torrent of this out there. I like raw, unedited stuff like that. Eh well.
