Went to 2 of the 3 DC shows.
Almost certainly my favorite Prince show ever since I started going to them in 1994. One of his best bands ever, if not the best. No Candy 4 Me

don't base it on the live cd that he released Agreed - this was one of the finest Prince tours since Diamonds & Pearls. The DVD or cd don't do it justice. It was the first howe I'd seen where it was really more about the music / musicians than anything else.

I saw two shows, one at the Hammersmith in London, and then a week or so later at Paris's Le Zenith. I have to say my lasting memory of Le Zenith was Prince coming out to do an encore of Anna Stesia wearing this weird outfit. It was along sweater, with trousers tucked into these rather odd moonboots. He didn't look like Prine at all.
Anyone else recall an outfit like that?

No.
I do recall my state of mind that evening and the situation in the subway right after the concert. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I saw Prince for my 2nd time with this tour. It was the December 15th, 2002 show at the Aladdin in Las Vegas. I got to the place at around 2pm I think that the line was long already. But it was there where I met people who are still my friends to this day. I was a member of the NPGMC and I was sitting anywhere from the 9th-11th row which was great for me cause I saw Prince clearly. It was so cool seeing him do Soundcheck and then the show. That was about 3 hours long. Then I went to Studio 54 and saw my first Aftershow and it was amazing. I was dealing with nothing but Prince for over 12 hours. I will never forget that show. Just amazing. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

In that (e)motion I rememebr the Live Music Hall aftershow from 1998 in Cologne.
The ending song. The break in DOW for the smoking, etc... Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.
