We all know that some celebrities are fans of Prince:Penelope Cruz, Matt Damon, Alicia Keys, Emma Roberts, etc. But do you think there are any celebrity Prince fans that are as much as fans as we on the org? In other words into collecting all albums, videos, boots, etc.? Or do you think that their celebrity status prevents them from being "die-hard" because they actually rub elbows with the guy?

Bill Oddie, he's been a Prince fan since the Dirty Mind days, go's to lots of the gigs.

I guess all the big name fans like Cruz, Damon, Pdiddy etc get to go back stage and party with Prince with VIP treatment, I bet Billy Oddie doesn't !!!

Saw Melanie Blatt at the O2Arena on the 9th September gig, she said she'd been to a ONA gig in London too. While I was talking to her Naomi Campbell swanned past us so she's obviously a fan as well.

To find the hardcore fans is much harder, I think they are a rare breed .... I've Lenny Henry at a few gigs over the years, in the normal sections, queuing up etc at Lovesexy, D&P, Nude, he's also spoke about Prince abit in interviews, so maybe him.

Most of the celebs just turn up to a freebie gig, VIP pampering and to be 'seen', there not particularly there to enjoy a Prince gig, would be interesting to know which celebs actually go out and buy a ticket for themselves, rather than being given complimentarys by record companys/agents etc.

Henry Rollins is a fan. Henry's music collection is (in general) phenomenal.

A close friend of mine was near Sandra Bullock at his 7/7/7 show and said she was on her feet the whole time singing and rockin it with Jesse James. I have always heard that John Stamos is a huge fan.

I remember watching the LA Musicology show in the theater and they cut to a shot of Eddie taking his seat...and to my surprise it wasn't a front row or a skybox seat. ...granted he wasn't in the nosebleed section but you would figure he would have closer/private seats..still cool to see something like that

I'm sure it's us low life's here on the Prince.org that really have sincere interest. Those of us that know how to survive without money's pampering...are the tough...the genuine...and the mysterious.
