Original Prince Shirt!! 
This is my lovely Nina (who is in America for half a year now  ) somewhere in Chicago.
Do you know anything about that piece of clothing? Looks like Purple Rain/ATWIAD era to me. Do you know why he gave it to them or what for etc? Thank you. | |

It would help us more if we knew what the plaque says underneath. I don't recognize what era its from but I'm sure its an 80's era shirt. Where did she take the picture? Jeux Sans Frontiers | |

it looks like the shirt that was thrown to the audience during the show in detroit on 7th june 1986, but i would imagine he would have several outfits the same, and that specific shirt was donated to something like the hard rock cafe, which is a likely place your daughter would end on a trip to america and come across such an item
finding out where the shirt was, and what the plaque says would be a start, a photo of the plaque would also help | |

It is a shirt from the 84/85 Purple Rain tour.
The design is the same as one of the white ones used throughout the Purple Rain movie. It was made in a variety of colours for the tour. Thats assuming its an original. The same design got a limited run in retail in 85, so it could just be a copy. . | |
